WHOO. last thursday, we were let off at 3.30pm from choir for the catholic girls to go for mass and church visiting. hah, there was the washing of the feet and the smoke thingy. that's what i did on holy thursday!
Good Friday was, uh, GOOD! :D woke up at 4.30am to go to some cemetary thing to 'visit' my late grandfather. it was kinda cool, burning all the hell notes and stuff. we finished around 7. they drove around to restaurants to find a place to have breakfast. BUT like none of the restaurants were opened yet. we drove around like mad people in the freaking car until we saw that some shop was open. and it was already 8. after eating, we went home and then later at 10, we went for the GF mass. IT LASTED TWO HOURS. so long la! we had to kiss jesus' feet. then around 3, i met thongs at bishan MRT to go j8. she wanted to buy some clip thingys. we shopped around then decided to go AMKHub too! bought some really girly stuff there :D we then took the MRT to yio chu kang followed by a taxi to go for a BBQ at tammei's house. the uncle dropped us at the condo and we walked to her apartment. we rang the bell, her sister opened the door and told us that they were still at cassandra's house. we were like 'WHAT!' then we WALKED to cassandra's house. rang the doorbell and the maid told us that they were at tammei's. WHALAU LA. we had to walk back and thongs called janet. she told us that they were at the clubhouse. played some taboo game. thongs damn pro la. 'Where are giraffes found?' she wanted to say ah meng but then the card said cannot say. but our group was really good. they were like 'zoo!' then she said 'uh a longer word.' 'SINGAPOREZOO!' and we got that right :D later we had the BBQ. it was SWEET. shuxiang came after cheer. had fun with the bikes. and we found linghui's soulmate, AARON. ooh, we also had cocoa trees chocolate fondue. YUM! shuxiang, thongs, janet and i also played with 3 kittens. they are so cute! HAH then my mom fetched me home around 9+. on the way out, shuaxiang, thongs and i camwhored. caught so many unglam pics of me la :/ anyway, that was Friday.
on saturday, i followed my mom to her office cause it was near VCH. there was choir prac there at 1015. it was kinda like a full-dress SYF rehearsal. it was okay la. THE STUPID SHOES HURT MY FEET. ML was wondering why we like no energy one. then she said,'uh okay la. you can take off your shoes.' everybody was like so relieved. we sang better after that. at around 3, my mom took me for LUNCH at Indulgz. it's a really, really porsch restaurant la. and the food is heaven. Mmm :D okay then we went home to change for dinner @ Orchard Hotel. my uncle from england invited us. he booked 4 tables. AND ONE TABLE COSTS $850. like WOW. the food's GOOOOOOOOOOD. a bit too heavy though. in the end the whole thing costed like around $4700( inclusive of the extra wine and drinks ). overall, SATURDAY was one of the best days EVER.
on sunday, we woke up at 7 to go to the cemetary again. BUT this time, it's for my great grandparents and granduncle. you know what, i prefer waking up super early to go to the cemetary because when you go around 8-9, it is EFFING HOT. and we had to walk in cause the police people won't let any cars in. BAH. finished around 12 then we went to some temple near thompson to have lunch. A VEGETARIAN LUNCH. it is actually rather nice, i must say. after eating, we went home. i caught CSI Miami. later, we went for the 1815 Easter Sunday mass. the choir was nice.
TODAY, kristin and i made LONTONG for econs! Mrs Gurung said ours was
not bad. NOT BAD LA! and she said that our cleaning of the pots and pans was EXCELLENT. (: heh, but we kinda cheated. the pots and pans won't dry with the tea towels, so we, uh, COPED the kitchen towels. we were not supposed to. oh well. took a taxi home. dropped shuxiang and peiwei at shuxiang's bus stop. ATE MY LONTONG FOR LUNCH. it's a bit too spicy though. the satay rice thing tasted HORRIBLE. i had a bite of it and immediately spit it right out. soon, my cousin came back and i gave her her birthday present. glad she liked it. EXPENSIVE BEAR LA! if she didn't like it, i'd kill her. haha. walked thaddeus' dog today. we walked until serangoon gardens la. i tell you ah, the husky's SO ADORABLE. and the fur is SO NICE. i still can't get her name right though. :\
